Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in the United States. She is best known for her role as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting while attending Preparatory School. The late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her hand at television as well as films. In 1992, Anna landed her first big role in the role of Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. The early 90s were when she was a frequent guest in TV and film like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. The mid-2000's saw her was given the role of Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully, the Deadwood film, and other movies were also starring her. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, a four-part audio series that was released in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in his relationship with Skyler are mirrored in the show.
