Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman, Director of the Psychology Department and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research is at University of California Davis. It is widely believed that she was the one who initiating the contemporary research into the study of eyewitness memory and child victim witnesses within court situations. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer, has won several awards and grants. She works with a variety of governments and agencies across the globe regarding policy and the research of child victimization in the court system. She serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly known as Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of several professional associations, such as those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She served as the President of the American Psychological Association's three divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
